The Rules:

Catero’s 8 Random Facts

1. Drugs, cigarettes, liquor? Yes, trying to quit cold turkey and yes (rum).
2. I have two older brothers. We all went to the same university at different times.
3. None of the jobs I’ve ever had have ever directly related to what I studied in university. I’m multi-talented like that.
4. I have two best friends – one female, one male. I’ve known one since the first day of Grade 9 and the other since the first day of Grade 12. When we get together things get really loud and crass.
5. I have very strong views on movie and music. If I don’t like a particular musician or actor I don’t endorse them in any way. This means changing the radio station or channel during their exposure time and refusing to watch their movies. Fuck you, Tom Cruise. You too, Jennifer Lopez.
6. I took an African and Caribbean Literature class in university and failed it. It haunts me to this day because: (A) my middle brother took a Caribbean Studies course in university, failed it and I mocked him for months and (B) my family is from the Caribbean. (I just couldn’t commit to reading 2 books a week on top of the course load from my major.)
7. My cell phone doesn’t have caller ID or voicemail. So, I intuitively guess who’s calling and then pick up or don’t pick up accordingly. It’s a system that’s always worked for me. (I don’t want to hear Darren talk about the same shit he’s ranted to me about for the past year.) If you need me, text me.
8. Currently, my favourite t.v. show is ‘Dexter’. The protagonist is Dexter Morgan, forensic specialist for the Miami Metro Police Department by Day, serial killer by night. It’s really fucked up because a few episodes in you start to empathize with this “monster”. Right now I’m watching season 2, episode 5, “The Dark Defender”.
